The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Tuesday, November 20, take on the Cranes of Uganda in an international friendly encounter that will be taken place at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba
The warm-up match will be happening three days after Gernot Rohr’s men face the Bafana of South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier clash at the FNB Stadium, Johannesburg’s on Saturday, November 17.
Uganda will also host Cape Verde in a 2019 AFCON qualifier Group L clash the same day, at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Kampala.
Moreover confirming the development to FUFA website, FUFA communications manager Ahmed Hussein, said:
Regardless of the outcome against Bafana Bafana, Rohr will be hoping to seize the friendly match to assess some untested players ahead of clash against already eliminated Seychelles.
In this case both countries sitting at the top of their respective groups and are close to securing a berth in Cameroon 2019.
The last time both team met, the Cranes defeated the Super Eagles 1-0 in a friendly match on March 25, 2015.
